No worries. Renters need only let us know that they wish to extend their rental. This allows us to schedule future rentals effectively. If you need to keep it longer than you first thought, just keep us informed.
Renters should call us immediately upon suspecting any issues with equipment, as it may be possible to correct the issue before more serious issues arise. Renters are responsible for damage or misuse of equipment, including failure to report safe or proper operation.
Yes. Our equipment is rented with full fuel tanks, so we charge $5 per operational hour for all unrefueled rentals.
Fuel varies by equipment, and the use of improper fuel can cause catastrophic damage to equipment. Usually, the correct fuel type is listed on the equipment. If you do not see what fuel to use, please ask us before refueling, as renters are responsible for damage caused by improper fuel use.

Yes, assuming your tow vehicle is rated to haul the weight of the equipment, you may transport any equipment you need. We do not load or unload equipment onto renters’ trailers, so you must be able to load and secure the equipment at time of rental and return. Renters are responsible for damage to rental equipment which may occur during loading, unloading, or transport.
Our staff will happily demonstrate proper equipment operation prior to renting for any renter unfamiliar with the safe, proper operation of the equipment they wish to rent. Just ask, we would love to help you get the most from your rental!
Renters are responsible for understanding the limitations of equipment they rent. Panhandle Rental Center makes no guarantee concerning the fitness of any equipment for any purpose.
Yes. Rental fees are for the time the equipment is in the renter’s possession.
Most construction equipment is rented by the machine-hour. While the engine of the equipment is running, hours are being put on the equipment. Generally, daily rentals include four machine-hours of operation. Hours beyond this allotment are charged at an hourly rate, per 1/10th of an hour. Renters should inquire about hourly limits or read their contracts if in doubt to avoid unexpected rental charges.
Generally, some soiling of the equipment is expected. Renters should take time to remove “excessive” soiling (clay or dirt buildup in tracks, buckets, cabs; asphalt, clay, dirt, or gravel from dump trailers, tc.) from equipment prior to returning rentals. Up to $200 in cleaning charges may be applied to rentals returned in unusually soiled condition.
Renters are responsible for damage to equipment, even if reasonable care is taken to avoid damage. Mistakes happen, and while we understand this, we must repair damages to continue to provide quality equipment to future renters. Please take care to avoid unexpected expenses or injuries.
Renters should notify Panhandle Rental Center immediately of any preexisting damage. Generally, we will be aware of preexisting conditions of our equipment, however, if damage is unnoticed, the last renter may be held accountable for repairs of damage to rented equipment. When in doubt, let us know so we don’t inadvertently ascribe responsibility to your rental contract.
